Organisms

The different types of organisms specially adapted to withstand or to avoid water stress. The different types of individual organisms (species) live in communities with other organisms. There are various levels of activity - the plants (primary producers) on which all other components of the community ultimately depend on. Some of the organisms in the desert is the Kangaroo rats, Collared lizards, Diamondback rattlesnakes, Prickly pear cactus and Yuccas hail.
